Michael Litovkin

I was born on the Island of Sakhalin, near Japan in 1982. When I was 13 years old, my family moved to Israel. From a very young age I was fond of drawing. Every time I watched movies, I was putting on paper their characters: Ninja Turtles, Terminator, etc.

I created my first tattoo in high school, when my girlfriend asked me to tattoo her with sewing needle and pen ink. When my friends asked me to tattoo them as well, I realized that it would be a great idea to transfer my artistic skills from paper to skin. That was the beginning.

I was a student at design and art faculty, when one day I saw some tattoos done by Robert Hernandez. His work inspired me to travel to the "2008 London Tattoo Convention" to see him in action. At the convention I saw many other amazing artists. It was truly an inspirational moment for me, and after it I've decided that tattooing is what I want to do for the rest of my life.
